Health program 

The Health Program operates clinical service and health education to communities in rural areas and IDP camps along the Kachin-China border in Kachin State and Northern Shan State. The main thematic areas run by the program are Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health care (station clinics and mobile clinic), Sexual Reproductive Health Rights, Nutrition Support, health education and trainings, school health activity, capacity building for community health facilitators and local health system strengthening.

 Objectives 

  1. To provide accessible primary health care services to community from hard to reach area with quality care.
  2. To educate and promote community’s behavior change for healthy lifestyle and their health seeking behaviors.
  3. To provide SRHR awareness raising to the adolescent and youths for self prevention and reduce SRHR problems in the community.
  4. To empower health care workers aiming to provide quality health care services to the community.
